After we came through the idea of laser high beams from the BMW Concept Vision Future Luxury car, Audi R8 LMX realized it and has introduced the world’s first production car featuring powerful laser high beams. Both headlights feature one laser module each and each module feature 4 high power laser diodes. Thus, it generates a high ranging cone of blue laser beam, twice the range of present LED headlights.
Under the hood, the mid-mounted engine develops 570 hp and hits 0-62 mph in cool 3.4 seconds. With the excellent fuel consumption of 18.2 mpg or 481g CO2 per mile, the Audi R8 LMX offers breathtaking performance on the road. Being a top-of-the-line- Audi limited edition, the model has ASF aluminum body developed and based on racing, with a top speed of 199 mph. Torque production is 398 lb-ft. It’s a Quattro permanent all wheel drive and is powered by a compact seven-speed S tronic transmission. 19-inch wheels are integrated with carbon fiber ceramic brake disc with red anodized brake calipers which look awesome behind the wheels.
The dynamic black toned interior accented with blue includes Fine Nappa leather seats, Carbon matted center tunnel console and parking brake lever, illuminated aluminum inlays, leather adorned knee pads, and the floor carpeting with black piping blue stitching.
