The Japanese Sigma Corporation has showcased their Sigma dp2 Quattro Compact Camera of the Sigma dp series much better than the DP Merrill series. This is not like any usual compact cameras but it has long sleek and slim body with unusual kinked grip. The camera features all new multi-layer Foveon X3 APS-C (23.5×15.7mm) direct image sensors with fixed focal length 30mm (equivalent to 45mm) F2.8 lens and the resolution of 19.6 million pixels plus 4.9MP of information captured by each layer corresponding to different RGB colors. The dp2 Quattro also features a 920k pixel LCD along with 9-point Contrast Detection Autofocus and an ISO range of 100 to 6,400. It has a 3-inch LCD on the back with 920k dots plus a plenty of space for a minimalist button layout and two control dials on the top. The Quattro is elegant, stylish, gorgeous and death-defying not like any other camera.
