1961 Honda Super Cub “Firefly” by Deus Japan
The Super Cub Honda is the VW Beetle in the motorcycles. Produced since 1958, the small motorcycle has already sold more than 85 million worldwide, making it the most produced motorcycle in the world.
And to honor the prestigious bike, the Garage Deus cared to customize this bestseller. The project is covered by head of Matthew Roberts, the new director of the Japanese branch of Deus. This crisp makeover is dubbed as “Firefly. The bike keeps the 49cc push rod/overhead valve, clutchless 3-speed 4-stroke engine. Also it gets handmade wheels custom spokes and made in Japan DID rims, hand-machined rear light and hand-formed alloy front fender. [via]
