DJI Osmo is available at considerably higher price than most of selfie sticks with HD cameras out there. But considering motorized 3-axis gimbal that ensures high tech stabilization and 4K (4096 x 2160) video recording at variety of frame rates and most importantly when the whole thing fits in your small bag, it’s what most of professional photographers will want to have. Plus, you can also change the X3/FC350H built-in camera and use the gimbal if you prefer (DJI hasn’t announced pricing on the camera-less Osmo model though).
Your smartphone, when wirelessly connected to Osmo, acts as a camera display and allows you to control the camera with more accuracy even when it’s connected within 25 feet distance. You may also adjust in-depth settings through user-friendly Osmo App.
Moreover, DJI Osmo features Auto slow motion video recording mode, orientation lock mechanism, Wifi Video Link, 1 hour video recording time and maximum SD card capacity for storage is 64 GB. The camera has a 12 Mega pixels of Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor, 94° Field of View 20mm lens, ISO range 100-3200 (for video);100-1600 (for photo), 8s - 1/8000s Electronic Shutter Speed, 4000 x 3000 pixels max image size and upto UHD: 4K (4096 x 2160) video resolution. Still photography modes include Single Shot, Photo Burst Mode, Auto Exposure Bracketing, 3/5 bracketed frames, Interval, Timelapse, Auto Panorama, Selfie Panorama.
