Buamruam, a Germany based firm has been building timeless Treehouse in Belgium in quite efficient and environment friendly way since a while now. By using the stainless steel stilts to secure the house with foundation screws; firmly driven into the earth, the house is chiefly elevated at about 5.5 and 6.5 meters up into the trees and some extra support is given to it through 2-3 trees surrounding it without effecting their position or structure. It’s the most essential part of their mission i.e., none of the trees should be effected in the making of each treehouse. Along with that, they ensure the safety and integrity of each treehouse by putting a properly balanced ventilation system, insulated interior and roofs, motion sensors for efficient energy consumption and underground heat pump unit to extract the heat from air. Denmark based architecture and interior designer Konrad Wójcik has come up with an idea to reside people with nature without any threat to nature. This project, called Primeval Symbiosis (Single Pole House), features a modern layout to accommodate a family of two to four persons. Wójcik’s idea uses space-saving but safe interior inside. And the structure uses mounted solar panels. The goal of this project is to create awareness and motivation among communities to live by nature without hurting it. Check out the images for details. ‘Volet végétal’ is a window garden that’s allows people living in apartments to maintain their own small vegetable garden right in front of their window. The whole planter structure plugs into window and can be controlled fully. The vertical position filters the air and shutters the light inside, whereas the horizontal position makes it more ornamental stand for planters. ‘Volet végétal’ project was designed for Parisian Design Contest and it was selected as one of best project. The Corner Ladder features ultra-compact design that transforms it equally useful for both open and congested areas.
