The wait is finally over. The iPhone 6 is finally here. Apple calls it their best phone ever. And, they have reasons to believe that it is. The phone is developed keeping in mind that hardware and the software syncs in nicely. The Iphone 6 comes with a 4.7 inches HD Retina display. The phone might be large but it is in no way fat. It measures just 6.9 mm in depth. Not the slimmest phone out there but still, quite slim.
On the design front, it is entirely made up of anodized aluminium, stainless steel and glass. The iPhone 6 has been made keeping iOS 8 in mind. With all the features of the new OS syncing in with the new device. The 4.7 inch screen has the same 326 ppi as before but has a higher resolution of 1334X750.
The biggest add-on comes in the way of the new A8 chip and the enhanced M8 motion processor that tracks your activities along with an all new barometer. This new processor has made it 50% faster than the original iPhone and has 84% faster graphic processing. The camera hasn’t changed in terms of megapixels as it still has the 8 MP camera but with a larger pixel size of 1.5 micron and a f/2.2 aperture making heads turn. The camera records 1080p videos at 60 fps and 720p videos at a whopping 240 fps. All this addition does not burn the battery as the iPhone 6 can play 50 hours of music or 11 hours of watching HD video or browsing on WIFI. That’s not all it also sports a 250 hours battery standby. The Touch ID is still there and improved with 360° orientation so, you can unlock your phone whether you’re in landscape or portrait mode. You can also purchase directly from iTunes, iBooks and App Store with third party apps integration now possible into Touch ID. The other big feature in the iPhone 6 is ‘Apple Pay’. Apple pay uses ‘NFC technology’ to make payments with a single touch. With Apple Pay, payments will be possible at 220,000 locations and more are going to add up in future. It comes in Gold, Silver and Space Gray. Shipping starts September 19 with the base version up for grabs for 199$ with a 2-year contract.
