From leaving home to living in a hotel at destination the Poppi will offer everything. Poppi hopes to combine Uber and Airnb services at the same time to bring an innovation for the aviation industry.

    Poppi will offer a passengers app to receive real-time information about the flight status so that passenger will not have to wait or delayed flights or boarding. Baggage with RFID tags will track location and send alert to passengers while staying in hotel or airport lounge sitting area.     Zarooq Motors’ “Sand Racer” Aims to Humiliate Sand Dunes

    Zarooq Motors is an emerging auto manufacturer from United Arab Emirates. They recently released the images of next production model dubbed as “Zarooq Sand Racer”. Images show an off-road ride for made for fun and adventure,aA special drive designed to humiliate desert dunes. It uses a 3.5-liter six-cylinder v6 petrol engine tuned to 300 horsepower. Zarooq Motors wants to build its own racing series Sand Racers set. The brand is working on a dedicated circuit in Dubai where sand racers can exhaust their vehicles. The circuit will also serve as a tourist attraction where tourists can ride laps with the Sand Racers.

    The price is estimated at $100,000. If the model is selling well, it will followed by an extended version with four seats. The company also has plans for a fully electric version. (more…)

    Space10 is a division of IKEA that gives birth to smart ideas. The latest drop by lab is the technology we desperately need now. Its a table that recharges smartphone out of heat. Heat harvesting is a long-researched area but first time we’ve got something that can solve a big problem. Right now our motherland has about as many mobiles as the population is and we need to charge them continuously.

    The Space10 has solution to it. The idea behind this is that certain materials can convert heat to electricity. The material absorbs heat and let it through a thermoelectric generator. The generator converts heat into electricity and then leaves to wireless charging port. Besides charging smartphone we might be able to use that heat-transformed electricity to keep our food heated or to power other home appliances. What if they manage to make a compact device to harvest heat from those appliance and covert back to electricity to keep working? Adopting such technology can solve both our energy generation problem and footprints we’re leaving right now. Possibilities are endless.

    Every wood and layer added to this living space resides a hard work and patience of Jim. The structure uses steel columns, fir floors that extend from outside deck to inner rooms. The floor-to-ceiling windows give spectacular views of greenery and Puget Sound.
