adidas officially releases the revolutionary Ace 16+ Pure Control FG, the first soccer shoes from brand without laces. Ace 16+ Pure Control FG uses three key legs lock design to replace the traditional soccer shoe lace system, including sideways, “three” Stripe TPU Cage, internal Techfit locking system and innovative Primeknit knit uppers.

Triple lock provides both strong and comfortable wearing experience to players. In addition, a new outsole design to further reduce the weight of shoes, and a special collar design also allows them to wear the shoes fit like a sock in general.

The Ace 16+ Pure Control FG is now available in limited quantity, priced at $300 dollars.

CP Slippers are simple yet very practical slippers designed to be worn in home. Made by CP Slippers, a Spanish company based in Elche, these footwears are constructed out of single piece of leather. The inspiration of these slippers is adopted from Japan and the purpose is simple, to keep the feet free of dirt and to allow them to move like a bare feet.

The materials used to make CP Slippers ($35) includes calfskin leather and a thread to stitch them. The leather is cut carefully so reduce leftover pieces. So yeah, all good.

Adidas is set to launch its 3D-printed footwear with the help of Parley for The Ocean. Labeled as “Futurecraft” the was designed by musician Pharell Williams in partnership with Zaha Hadid. The interesting side of project is that the material for 3D printed shoes is collected from Oceans and then recycled. Now Addidas has set its sails towards collecting more plastic from ocean to bring you latest practical pair of shoes in 2016. The contribution for plastic-free world also has extended to Adidas’ corporate offices where the company has stopped using plastic bottles in meetings and aims to abandon using plastic shopping bags as well.

Budapest-based leather product designing company Pikkpack has create one of its kind shoe which comes as a single sheet. When folded it can fit in your pocket. You get the flat-packed shoes delivered at home and then all you need is fold it and sew up with brightly colored shoelaces. Probably not, but we don’t believe you would avoid what it means by the very first auto-lacing shoe technology in Powerlace Shoes. In fact, this crowd-funding hopes to beat Nike. Yeah! You heard it right. By inserting your foot only, it automatically triggers the lacing system’s mechanism. It has a small lever at the lower rear end of the shoe that unlocks the power system as it receives energy only by the weight of the body. So, you guessed right, it’s a non-electric system. The small lever (or disc) is linked to the laces by wires. There is a release button on the heel that will let you release the pressure to loosen the laces, so you might get out of them.
