Hublot announced the Big Bang Ferrari Watch, a special edition created just for china, at the occasion of 2012 Ferrari Racing Days and Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Asia Pacific. The Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold Watch China Limited Edition is encased in a 45.5 mm diameter case with a carbon fiber bezel. Like Richard Mille’s watches this one also features naked watched movements. The whole system consists of 330 components that make 28,800 movements in every hour. The watch uses “18k” a special metal developed in Hublot’s R&D department, Magic Gold and carbon fiber makes it water resistant up to 100 meters. Furthermore the interchangeable straps are inspired by the safety seatbelt mechanism. Only 50 units will be produced and they all will be reserved for collectors and connoisseurs from Greater China. Recently this brand introduces its watch collection inspired by the Latin phrase “Terra Firma”, which translates as “on solid ground”, a unique combination of technology and nature. The whole collection features minimal design with lug-less 47mm x 15mm steel cases with black, silver and rose gold finishes, Italian leather straps, Ronda 736 3-hand quartz movements and sapphire crystals. Collection has three watches with organic dials rosewood, oak and cork without indexes. And the other three have black and white ceramic dials and visibly prominent indexes.
