In realm of creativity, we have a product designer and the winner of “iF concept Design Award 2014“, Simin Qiu. He presented his concept of Swirl Faucet via Behance and displayed innovative miniature turbine-powered, water flow shaping faucet design. Apart from the fact that it looks prettier to eyes and feels gentle when touched, this faucet (compared to the traditional faucets) saves water too. It limits the flow of water to 15% after a span of 60 seconds. It also has an energy saving function that makes the water come out at a preset temperature every time you press the button. The Swirl is made possible with two separate flow elements of varying diameters each spinning in the opposite direction.
