Sony’s recently introduced the new A9 Camera which is exactly what a professional photography camera demands. The new A9 is the most advanced full-frame mirrorless camera that replaces the heart with a 24.2 Megapixels full-frame stacked CMOS sensor with integrated memory. The sensor gives it the ability to shot at 20x faster speeds. which means you can do high speed 20fps continuous shooting in RAW (AF/AE lock for up to 241 RAW/ 362 JPEG images). The good thing about the electronic shutter is that it won’t blackout/lag between taking pictures. The camera shoots upto 1/32000 seconds which is far better than the mechanical shutter. Samsung debuts its first VR Camera, Gear 360. The dual lens technology allows you to record 360-degrees field of view. Either use one or both at the same time, each of those wide angle lenses give you 180-degrees field of view. With just a single click of a button it may record 3840 x 1920 pixels high resolution video (4k) and 30MP photos. The Gear 360 is made to shoot, stitch & edit, view and share the media on the go.

Leica XU (Typ 113) Waterproof Camera
Leica has released a very interesting compact XU (Type 113), which is waterproof to a depth of 15 meters. The camera is equipped with a large APS-C chip, high luminous f/1.7 lens.
The Leica XU (Type 113) is based on the already well-known compact Leica X (type 113). The camera meets the IP68 standard and the manufacturer promises the possibility of shooting at depths of up to 15 meters for 60 minutes. The camera also can survive a fall from the height of 1.22 meters. The shape of the camera has been developed in collaboration with Audi Design.
The camera comes with an APS-C sensor with the resolution of 16.5 megapixels (effective 16.2 million pixels). The camera can shoot movies in Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) or HD (1280 × 720 pixels) at 30 frames per second in MP4 format. The XU (Type 113) gets 3″ display has the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. You can use SD Memory Card, SDHC and SDXC. To power it, a 1600 mAh Li-Ion battery from Sanyo has been used.
All this comes for $2,950, which is not much for a “water, dust, and shockproof Leica”.

netatmo Presence Security Camera with Smart Activity Detection Technology
Netatmo, a well-known manufacturer for its connected home devices presented its smart home security camera called “netatmo Presence”. The camera is able to distinguish between animals, cars, and people. The Presence constantly communicates with the connected iOS devices, for example, when an animal prowling around the house, when a car stopped in front, or when a person approaches the place.
With a viewing angle of 100 degrees and a detection distance of 20m, the Presence is not only effective in the day time but also at night. The infrared sensors and a projector automatically enable to record better images in condition low light or to flee intruders.

TomTom Bandit Action Camera for 4K Videos
TomTom is a Dutch brand famous for its GPS. The company now aims to take on famous action cam GoPro with its TomTom Bandit action camera. In this sector where GoPro reigns supreme, TomTom hopes to get a place with his camera capable of shooting 4K.
The Bandit is waterproof to 50 meters depth, incorporating a 16 megapixel sensor that can shoot in 4K theoretically. The problem is that the 4K image could be choppy because the speed is limited to 15 fps. For more fluid sequences it is possible to shoot in 2.7K (2704 x 1528 pixels) at 30 fps in full HD at 60 fps or 120 fps at 720p.
The camera hosts a MicroSD port and a USB 3.0 port to make transferring images and also to recharge its 1900 mAh battery. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth. Motion sensor and a GPS are integrated into the TomTom Bandit, coupled to the integrated pulse indicator, the camera is able to “mark” the highlights in the video.
The TomTom Bandit Action Camera($397) works in conjunction with mobile TomTom Sport app, which is currently available only on iOS. The frame of the video will be sent directly on your smartphone and you can control the camera from it. Editing can be done directly from the tablet or smartphone connected to the camera via WiFi. This allows editing media without transferring to other devices.

The Phase One XF 100MP Camera
Phase One the company committed to the development of ultra-high-pixel camera recently released the world’s first 100 million pixel CMOS sensor-powered camera dubbed as “XF 100MP”. The Phase One collaborated with Sony to develop this medium format sensor, which not only supports 16-bit color but also the pixel as high as 100 million (101,082,464).
