DJI’s latest and smartest drone the Phantom 2 Vision+ seems to offer quite compelling features and all in one outperformed package this time. For enthusiast, it’s known that this is a revised yet fully upgraded version of previous Phantom 2 Vision. It was a time you had to fix your GoPro with this flying ghost. This RC quadrocopter is now specially made to take some pretty awesome aerial shots and HD videos with its integrated 14 megapixels camera. We expect serious tech buffs to get excited to know its featured 3-axis electronic stabilizer, which means no shaky videos or stills to jumble the viewers’ brain. Built-in GPS lets you get even smoother photos and offers some other stunning features like height and distance limitations, Air Safety Controls to restrict your guy entering forbidden areas like airports. To direct your camera straight down, the built-in gimbal does the job to catch a bird’s eye view shot. Of course, it all worths a handsome price. Tag Heuer is a Watch Manufacturer Company based in Switzerland and has recently launched their self-charging mobile phone named Meridiist. All that works is a smart transparent panel layered beneath the LCD. The panel has its own two layers – a lenticular film embossed with photovoltaic cells to receive the light and a tray having semi-cylindrical shapes to focus the light. The light may be natural or artificial although Tag Heuer has not revealed the exact course of electricity generation; they call it Perpetual Power Reserve. Additionally, the phone will feature 5 MP camera and 8 GB memory. Bringing infinite power source withing this very mobile, imagine how much comfort you’ll feel when you cross out the typical chargers from your smart life. Is it true that you want a charger that will juice up your phone in just like 30 seconds? An Israel-based company StoreDot has carried out a successful experiment on Samsung Galaxy S4 to juice it up using their next-gen battery pack in Tel Aviv University. Yea, raise your eyebrows; the best part is that they did it in just 30 seconds. The technology used is of nanodots which are comprised of microscopic magnets that let your phone battery recharged super fast. Doron Myersdorf, the CEO at StoreDot, explains that they have used new materials to develop a new electrode named as Multi Function Electrode. One side of this electrode functions as a Supercapacitor for very fast charging while the other one as lithium electrode for slow discharge. The bad part is that this technology is in early phase and would not be available for public until 2016. For the price hint, just know they have raised $6.25 million only for research, yet no one on earth would hesitate to grab it using any means including money.
