A Kickstarter user Tigere Chiriga has come up with a great idea of connecting a  coaster with mug. His object Floating Mug combines a white porcelain mug and a coaster connected with handle, that keeps the mug lifted above and in result the heat stays away from sensitive surfaces like papers, wood and plastic.
