Pedal Forward Bicycle Uses Bamboo as Frame
Bamboo is a lightweight and durable material and lucky unlike other woods it is grows faster and easily. Strength wise bamboo can take more bends than steel and is four-times shock absorbent than carbon fiber. And now someone has figured out the best use of this sustainable material. Presenting you Pedal Forward, the bicycle that uses bamboo as frame. The most part of frame uses bamboo bar fitted together using steel joints.

The project is maintained by a bunch of students who presented this idea back in 2011 and also pocket the award for it. Right now Kickstarter is the home of Pedal Forward where pledging $500 will get you one bamboo bike in June 2016.

SpeedForce Is Smart Computer For Bicycles

SpeedForce is a smart computer for cyclists for combining cycling and intelligence. The system consists a small computer, a set sensors, a GPS, an app that delivers data in real time and a companion app.

The computer is completely integrated into the bike.
