  • Polaris ATV Airless Tires Machine Hits Road

Polaris ATV Airless Tires Machine Hits Road

A civilian version of the US Special Forces’ MV850 ATV, Sportsman WV850 H.O. is on road with airless (non-pneumatic) tires. A pretty smart work of drastic engineering, the rugged terrain has to bear a merciless quad having a 77hp 850 cc engine grinding the stones with the help of four bulletproof non-pneumatic tires (NPTs). Designed by Resilient Technologies, the tires are comprised of a heavy tread band sustained by a polymeric web (like honeycomb). They can resist a .50-caliber bullet direct hit and would go on miles far casting off any railroad spike punctures. Additional dynamic features include single-speed military grade transmission, 11.75 gallon tank, front and rear cargo racks capable of bearing 600 lbs weight, 1500 lbs towing capacity with the increased number up to 3500 with a winch, and electronic power steering.

  • Bmw R80 Mobster By ER Motorcycles

Bmw R80 Mobster By ER Motorcycles

Vision and destiny of the bike stops the blinks of eyes as a matter of refined engineering poured down by ER on this ’83 BMW R80 called ‘Mobster’. Why they dribbled away months building it naturally worths that because the passion of Blaž Šuštaršič from Slovenia, the creator, came to a decision to rework on this holy machine six months ago. Like a well-dressed ganster, the front forks are of BMW R50/5 and tires are Coker Diamonds at 4.50-18” and the unique look is reflected from frozen bronze finish color, tarozzi clip-ons, modish exhaust and leather seat both by ER, Motogadget Classic sp.meter, and sporty ‘Scorsch Meier’ tapered fuel tank. The frame and vintage rear suspension and skillfully crafted saddle exquisitely surpass the rest. Those who have a flare tend to presume themselves to be the owner where Honda CB750, CX500 and Italian Ducati couldn’t gather such animation.VIA

  • Transport Bicycle Packs A Storage Compartment In The Front Wheel

Transport Bicycle Packs A Storage Compartment In The Front Wheel

It’s interesting to notice that transport bicycle packs a storage compartment in the front wheel. Most riders hate to wear a backpack while on a transport bicycle but the manufacturers from Georgia Tech have offered a resourceful transport solution. A large round compartment framed in the front hubless wheel gives much room for the storage with an additional backpack attached. The frame stays static but the tire rotates whereas the rear wheel has the standard gear system. The designers say the front wheel loaded with books and tablets etc. won’t much affect the handling of the bike. The current prototype, however, is made of plywood and glue with the few steel supports and considerable improvements are likely in future ready-to-use model.
