Volkswagen continues design and technological improvement in their bugs. Recently introduced E-Bugster Speedster concept is inspired by old Beetle but with new cuts and technology. E-Bugster Speedster is all-electric model featuring Blue-e-motion electric drive unit, powered by an electric motor that produces 114hp and 199 pound-feet of torque. To run all this, Bugster is powered be 695-pound lithium-ion battery juicy enough for 100 miles of driving. No words on interior and production so far. [via]
